CREATORS & ORIGINS / YOUR STORY

Share your story. Help more people discover your work.

Every creator starts somewhere. Creators & Origins offers an opportunity to introduce the person behind your work, explain what makes it meaningful, and reach readers who may not have discovered you yet. Whether you are building a business, making art, developing a project or pursuing a creative passion, your experience deserves a thoughtful introduction.

Why share your story?

  • Expand your visibility: Introduce your work to a broader audience through an editorial feature.
  • Help people find you: An approved feature can include a clickable link to your website, making it easier for interested readers to explore your work and potentially visit your site.
  • Build a meaningful connection: Share the motivations, challenges and values behind your work so readers understand the person as well as the project.
  • Create a story worth sharing: A published feature gives you a professional introduction you can share with your own community.

Features are selected through editorial review. Visibility, website traffic and other outcomes depend on reader interest and are not guaranteed.

What should your story cover?

Use the questions below as a guide when writing in the Post Content field. You do not need to answer every question individually; a clear, personal story is more valuable than a formal questionnaire.

  1. Who are you? Introduce yourself, your location if you wish, and the creative work, project or business you want readers to know about.
  2. How did it begin? What inspired you to start, and what were your first steps?
  3. What makes your work distinctive? Describe what you create, who it serves and what matters most to you.
  4. What challenges have shaped you? Share a turning point, an obstacle or a lesson learned along the way.
  5. What are you proud of? Highlight a meaningful achievement, project or moment of progress.
  6. What comes next? Tell readers what you are working toward and where they can follow or support your work.

Before submitting: Choose a descriptive story title, include your website homepage if you have one, and upload an original image you have permission to publish. Write in your own voice and avoid promotional claims you cannot substantiate.
